HUEY, Mrs. Louisa, Harris Co., widow of deceased soldier, 1864, Microfilm 529. I am adding the following: <Mrs. A./Emily BANKSTON is possibly the wife of Abner B.S. BANKSTON. Abner died in May 1864 at the Battle of Resaca near Calhoun GA. The children of Abner and Emily: Cornelia (married James Monroe SWINT); Lucinda "LuLu" (married George Washington SLAYTON); Eddie B.; and Abbie. Abner was the son of Abner BANKSTON and Elizabeth (nee) LONG RISER BANKSTON. Abner's siblings: Henrietta (m. Hiram B.WATSON); Baswell (m. Martha J. HUEY); and Melinda (Emeline) Caroline (m. Elisha Arnold ZELLNER. After the death of Abner, Emily married Wm. Calloway DAVIS 12 Nov. 1866. <Louisa HUNT HUEY was possibly the widow of Thomas Calvin HUEY, who was killed 1862.
