SAMUEL FUNDERBURK (FUNDERBURG) is shown on the l820 Census of Edgefield Co. SC. He moved to Harris Co. GA about l835. His father was Anthony Walter Funderburk. Samuel believed born abt. l787 and d. after l830 prob. in GA I do not know the names of all his children, but the ones I know: Samuel, Jr.; Anthony; Andrew Jackson; Lucinda; Eleanor; James K.; Archibald; and Watson. I'm not sure that all of these were his children. His sons, Archibald and Watson joined the SC Cavalry from Edgefield Co. SC. There must be someone who is researching this family.
