The Corner Stone of the Mount Ollive Baptist Church on Highway # 315 near Mulberry Grove read the Mount Ollive Baptist Church was founded in 1867. Does anyont know if this is the say Church and same area that was once was the Mulberry Meeting House near Mulberry Grove then the name was changed to New Hope Baptist Church then it was changed to Mount Olive Baptist. Does anyone know about the beginning of the Mount Ollive Church and could it be the same Church that started out as Mulberry Meeting House and then New Hope. My grandpapa was active in this Church in the 1830s. His name was Green Berry Waldrop. He was also involved in the Rehobath Baptist Church in Catalua, Harris County.
