COLUMBUS BAPTIST ASSOCIATION ORGANIZED NOVEMBEER 22, 1829 The Columbus Baptist Association was organized November 22, 1829 at Mulberry Meeting Houses then, now known as New Hope Baptist Church, ten miles from here at Mulberry Grove. Twelve Churches reporting from Talbot, Harris and Muscogee Counties. Churches from Harris County included Bethesda, Mulberry Meeting Hall, Mount Olive and Hamilton Baptist Church , then Lebanon. I am researching Green Berry Waldrop, he along with others was a member of the Presty where they went around the Counties and organized the Churches. Green Berry Waldrop and his family lived in Harris County and owned land. Is there anyone with Church Doctumens, such as Chartered members or information on the members of the Presty? Would you please let me know? Green Berry Waldrop born 1794 and died 1840 lived in Harris County 1827 until the early 1840s. His wife, Elizabeth H.
