I want to Thank each and every one that took the time to reply and give me the information on Greene County. I know now the one I was looking for was Greene County, Georgia. This was the route our ancestors took from the Carolinas down thru Georgia, including Greene, Twiggs, Gwennette, Coweta,Talbot, Haris and other counties in Georgia then crossing over into Alabama where many of our ancesters settled in Alabama and Mississippi.
