Whenever you see that coding: >The address given (cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ga/Talbot) it means the message was posted on the Gen Connect Query Bulletin Board, and in this case it is the one for Talbot County. Go to Talbot County page first....and then you should be able to go right into the Queries from there and locate her name. http://www.rootsweb.com/~gatalbot/gatalbot.htm Virginia

Yes, that's Barfield's book and the index to it. The original post was asking whether anything else had been published. I don't think there is anything in the way of a published book on the deeds, marriages, etc. of Harris County. If there is, I'd sure like to have a copy of it. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Friday, April 09, 1999 6:26 PM Subject: Re: [GAHARRIS-L] re books on this county? >Thanks have access to census film and Barfield's book at TX ST. Looking for any information on William Elbert White Sr and wife Mary Elizabeth Barton. He was a Methodist minister and a merchant in Whitesville. History has it that he was killed by some Indians in 1837. I have been unable to confirm this. Also cannot locate his and Marys grave. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Bill White
Doesn't anyone have access to the Wright Cemetery or a published record of those buried there? A researcher of the ZELLNER surname is interested in obtaining the records for that surname. Can anyone help? If so, contact Lou Randall directly at [email protected] Also, if someone can help, I would be interested in a copy for the Harris Co GenWeb pages.
