You seem to have more information on Captain Benjamin Parks than I do and I'd like to share information with you. I am trying to ascertain if Benjamin was at the Battle of Kings Mountain. I have one source as a R I Moore that lists him as a Colonel at that battle. This something I copied many years ago and I cannot find the URL to verify this information. Also, I notice that you have his middle name as Lawson and this is the first I have heard of this. I am sure we have the same Benjamin in mind as my Benjamin died in Hall County July 11, 1839.
