FREE FAMILY HISTORY WORKSHOP SLATED The Lula - Bellton Heritage Book Committee has announced there will be a free Family History Workshop beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 31, in the Council Room at City Hall in Lula. Conducted by Don Mills, Publishing Consultant for Walsworth Publishing Company, the purpose of the workshop is to explain the techniques for preparing family histories and genealogies for the forthcoming book, Lula-Bellton Area and Its People. Each person with a residence, former residence or roots in Lula or Bellton,Georgia and surrounding area is eligible to submit a free 500-word story and picture for the book. The committee says, "whether you are a native or newcomer, we want your stories and pictures!"
