    3. Regarding the information on http://www.rootsweb.com/~galumpki/whatsnew.htm Dan, There is an error in the Cavender Memorial Cem, information according to my records; The information online gives the dates for Clemeth Cavender, jr. as Clemeth Cavender 05-12-1812 -- 10-06-1898 [Son of Clemeth Sr. and Rebecca Cavender]. I have the birth date year as 1821, and that is supported by census records. 1864 Census for the Re-Organization of the Georgia Militia, Hall Co., GA, 33 Senatorial District-434th GMD A.R.COOPER, Enrolling Officer; James T. WHITEHEAD, Aide de camp CAVENDER, Clemath, 42 yrs. 7 mos., Farmer, b. GA; Exemption:Disability <http://www.rootsweb.com/~gahall2/htmlpages/hallmilitia_1864.htm> 1880 Census: Big Hickory, Hall, Georgia, p. 134A [Source: FHL Film 1254150 National Archives Film T9-0150] Relation Sex Marr Race Age Birthplace Clem CAVENDER Self M M W 59 GA Occ: Farmer Fa: VA Mo: NC Tiryah CAVENDER Wife F M W 49 GA Occ: Keeps House Fa: NC Mo: NC Andrew CAVENDER Son M S W 20 GA Occ: Farm Laborer Fa: GA Mo: GA Thomas CAVENDER Son M S W 19 GA Occ: Farm Laborer Fa: GA Mo: GA The wife named with him as Turzah J. Cavender is according to my information a 2nd wife. His first wife was Julia Ann Barnes, md. Mar 18, 1849, Hall Co. GA. per HALL COUNTY MARRIAGES (through 1850) http://www.rootsweb.com/~gahall/marrearl.txt ( April 6, 2000), "Electronic." It has always bothered me that she is not listed in the cem. records since there are so many Barnes folks listed there. I have not checked much more, but is this the proper way to send additions and/or corrections to the information such as identifying folks in the cems and pictures?
