I was interested in your O'Dell name. My grandfather's name was Odell Coursey. He was born in Johnston, Edgefield Co, SC in 1892. I have always wondered about the name Odell, as it does not show up in any of the ancestors that I have found back to 1790 census. Is there a famous Odell family that was in SC at some time that you know of?
