The story I "go by" is she came over from Scotland sometime during or after the Rev war. She had three sons and one of them, or his descendants, made it to Texas. She received a land grant in what was then Hall Co. Georgia. I rec'd most of this from a McKinzey in Alabama and relatives here in Texas.
