I have one transcribed marriage license on the Forsyth website . http://www.rootsweb.com/~gaforsyt/gagen/marrlic1.html This is basically what all the recordings are. In the old books they were written out by hand. Newer books are fill in the forms. Current books are photocopies of the license copied onto acid free pages that can be inserted into the books. The applications for the license would have contained the parents names etc. Very few of those survived. One Clerk in Forsyth County recorded some into part of Book E. They either changed clerks or he realized he was doing more work than necessary.
