John Munday was born in Albemarle Co., VA abt 1787 and married Elizabeth BURRUSS 20 June 1808 in Louisa Co., VA. They had six children: 1. Mary A. Munday md. James M. DUNAHOO 2. Louvinia Ann Munday md. Josiah THORNTON 3. John Burruss MUNDAY (MUNDY) see below 4. James E. Munday b. ca1824/5 in Louisa Co., VA middle name possibly Elmer 5. Susan Lusia Mundy md. Young Keller LIGHT 6. Samuel D. Munday md Martha (LNU) had at least one son named John Cleveland Mundy John Burruss MUNDY was born in Louisa Co., Virginia ca. 1823 and moved to Georgia and lived in the Jackson, Hall, Forsyth area. He died 12 March 1878 and had 10 children by two wives. Married 1st Mary Evelyn. THORNTON (Betty) and had three children. 1. Zachariah Taylor MUNDY b. 25 May 1847 d.28 Nov 1904 md.1st Lucinda WHITE and 2nd Frances Priscilla PAGE. 2. Georgia Ann MUNDY b. ca 1851 md Garrison L. WHITE 3. Nebraska C. MUNDY b. ca 1855 (do not know what became of her.) Married 2nd Elizabeth (Betsy) SHADBURN and had seven children. 1. Louisa Nash (Nas) MUNDY b. ca 1862 md John L. JOHNSON 2.
