Good Morning, Job Smith, born about 1820, has been attached to the family of Hiram Smith and his wife Dorcas (maiden name unknown) by several researchers. I have been willing to take their word for it as the information was based on old letters and lists shared by several 'Aunties' and 'Grannies.' One note I have said Job and Melissa 'Lissie' Hall were married in South Carolina. I did not find Job or Melissa Hall married in Hall County from the Index of Marriages that I co-produced last year. I did find Job in District #38, Hall County, on the 1850 census. He and his wife 'M' Smith had five children who were only identified by initials. I have not yet looked at the 1860 census or later documents. If you would care to exchange information, I am always happy to do so. Thank you.
