Hyde and their two sons, Jackson and William were living in Hall Co. for the 1870 census. He was listed as a railroad worker. I later found a record of his son Jackson where he said that his father died in 1870. We have no knowledge of his parents, siblings, or birth place. Perhaps he was killed in a railroad accident as he was in his 40's at the time so I doubt he died of natural causes. He is our family's illusive ancestor for 3 generations and we want so much to find him. Does anyone have any information on him? We would be so greatful. Thank you. Jean @ [email protected]
