If you think that you may have traced a relative to Georgia and do not know where to start looking, try the publications "Pioneers of Georgia" by Joyce D. Payne (1992). It is at least four volumes and all entries are in alpha order. I recently came across this work while researching in the Southern Heritage Library. I found a number of leads even though I knew my roots go deep into Georgia. Bill Stephenson
Any idea where I might find these books. I have been searching the web and can find nothing where where they may be purchased. Thanks for any help.
