I would say yes you can post lookups if the source is given. The guidelines say that quotes from a source may be used as long as that source is given credit. When quoting paragraphs, the guidelines say keep it to about 100 words. Even better, paraphrase it (put it in your own words). They discourage volunteers doing lookups and posting all of one surname. Posting a few names is okay. I think the question here is whether you can copy the whole book and post it to the Web. That is a no-no unless you have the author's permission or the copyright has expired.
