The Rev. Dorsey Freeland and Ralph Satterfield will officiate, and interment will be in the church cemetery. The body is at Ward’s Funeral Home in Cleveland. Mrs. Shoffeitt died Friday (June 13) at a private convalescent home following an extended illness. A native of Union County, Mrs. Shoffeitt had lived most of her life in Lumpkin County. She was the widow of J.S. Shoffeitt and was a member of the Town Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Paul Shoffeitt, Atlanta; John Henry Shoffeitt, Dahlonega route 1; three step-daughters, Mrs. Lindy Flanagan, Dahlonega route 1; Mrs. Nellie Hicks, Thompson; Miss. Nan Shoffeitt, Dahlonega route 1; one brother, Joe Holloway, Dahlonega route 1; and five grandchildren. Holloway Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel of Little-Davenport Funeral Home of Gainesville for Samuel S. Holloway, 68, of Broadway Drive, Gainesville. The Rev. Donald Tritt will officiate and interment will be in Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9. Mr. Holloway, a native of Lumpkin County who had lived in Hall County most of his life, died today at his residence following a sudden illness. He was retired from New Holland Mills and was of the Baptist faith. Holloway GAINESVILLE – Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Wahoo Baptist Church for Dan Lester Holloway, 61, of Spring Road, Gainesville route 8. The Rev. Mr. Holloway, a native of Union County who had operated Holloway’s Grocery in Hall County for 25 years, died Sunday at Hall County Hospital following a short illness. Hollaway, 78, died at Downey hospital Thursday after a long illness. She resided at 17 Copeland street Gainesville. Mrs. Hollaway was born in Lumpkin county in September 15, 1852, and had lived in Hall county most of her life. She was the widow of the late William F. Hollaway of New Holland. Services for Mrs. Hollaway will be held at the Damascus Baptist church Saturday at 2 pm with the Rev. Harvey Buffington officiating, assisted by the Rev. Claude Hood. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Survivng are four sons, Dave Hollaway, Dahlonega; Lester Hollaway, Gainesville; Sam Hollaway, New Holland; and W.H. Hollaway, Murrayville route 1, four daughters, Mrs. Vada Ash, Gainesville route 6; Mrs. L.C. Christy, Atlanta; Mrs. Cecil Colbert, New Holland and Mrs. Rosco Cook, New Holland, two brothers, Mr. Sam Waters, Cumming and Mr. John Waters, Anderson, S.
