He was following line of daughter Matilda Hadaway 1820-1888. Perhaps she is a sibling/step-sister of Wilson Amos Hadaway since you mentioned 2nd wife of Amos.?? Matilda married in 1846 to James A. Hays or Hayes 1824-1887, but have not found James A. Hayes parents. Additional on Rodicie King: father Richard King, his father Drury King. We also show Thomas Hadaway as Amos' father, but no birth/death dates. Does any of this fit with your research, and do you have anything info on Hays/Hayes or on Thomas Hadaway? Thanks, Jean
