Howdy Folks, I could really use your help on this. I am looking for any record of an Edward WADE in Hall Co GA in the 1820s. My ggg-grandfather Elijah WADE bought land in Hall Co on Oct. 1, 1825. The subscribing witness to that deed was an Edward WADE. I think this Edward may be the father of Elijah but I can find no record (other than this deed) of an Edward WADE in Hall Co in the 1820s. Was there any Edward WADE who was a resident of Hall Co in the 1820s? Or is the Edward who witnessed the deed in Hall Co the same Edward that was in adjoining Gwinnett Co in the 1820s?
