I am in the process of transcribing the 1920 Hall County census. Enumeration Districts 92 through 104 are completed and are, or soon will be, on line at _http://ftp.us-census.org/pub/usgenweb/census/ga/hall/1920/_ (http://ftp.us-census.org/pub/usgenweb/census/ga/hall/1920/) . I encourage you to review your ancestors entries and verify the accuracy with what the enumerator entered on the census form. Any errors on my part will be happily corrected. Proofreaders are need to verify the transcription with the original census images. If you have access to the images and wish to proofread a district or two please email me to make arrangements. Yes, William Morrow born in England (he lists that as his birth on the census records). He bought land from Elizabeth Jay Lusk when she moved to Nimblewill. What joy to receive a response on a 7 yr. old query to Rootsweb! In the intervening time, sorry that my e-mail address has changed twice and not fully up-dated on all Message Boards. Would like very much to exchange data with you. Living out west, we lack some of the old Georgia and South Carolina details. We do have extensive information on David Alexander Morrow's branch that migrated to Washington Territory. Every branch has different information that is worthwhile and new to the other descendents. Please do continue with this connection. M. Morrow
Is anyone aware of a Morrow family living in Hall County during this time period? _________________________________________________________________ Try the new Live Search today! http://imagine-windowslive.com/minisites/searchlaunch/?locale=en-us&FORM=WLMTAG

"William W. Pethel was pressure washing the roof of Building J at FCTI. At some point, he lost his footing and fell through the skylight and onto the floor of the two-story building," said Sgt. Chuck Mullis of the Sheriff's Office. "Apparently, there were several witnesses to the event. They appeared to know the victim," he said. The accident occurred around 1:50 p.m., according to the report. Mullis said St. Johns County Fire Rescue was called to the scene and was beginning to transport Pethel to send him by helicopter to an area hospital when he died. Pethel was a resident of St. Augustine. St. Johns County School Board spokeswoman Margie Davidson said Friday evening Pethel had worked for the school system for several years, but she did not have additional details on the maintenance worker. I found a Grady Faulkner in Jackson Co., GA in the 1920 Census. He's a "hired man" in the household of George and Lou Wilson b ca 1902 (but you know how those census can be off by several years). In the 1910 Hall Co. Census there is a Grady, son of John and Winnie, b ca 1903. If you don't have access to Ancestry, I can send the census images to you. I have been looking for information for the Fornia Grady Faulkner Family. They are from Hall county. I can only find him back to 1930. He was born in 1906 in Georgia, Possible Hall County. I find him on a census in Talmo, Jackson County, GA in 1930. But no further back. So I can't find his parents. I will try to be at the Sitting Up with the Dead 'party' but I really need some ideas to start with. Thanks
Thanks for the information. I will be staying with relatives in Young Harris but that's a little bit of a drive late at night for a single person. While I on this I might as well ask again. Is there anyone on this list related to the Millers buried at Mossy Creek Methodist Church. Also researching in this area, Dunagans, Edmondsons, and all related.
