Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/4c.2ADE/2192.1.1 Message Board Post: Hey julie: Thanks so much for your consideration to help. The death occurred in Gainesville, GA. That's all I know. And in 1996. So I have no complete death info. The reason I thought an OBIT would be in Gainesville was that the death was a fatal car accident. I didn't mean to imply that her family didn't live in the area .... I am not sure. I think they did. But this is a death that occurred in GA. And now that I think about it...... Killough was her maiden name..... and she was most likely married in 1996 when she died. AND YIKES ~ ~ I don't know the married name! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Your very kind to respond. Looks like I do need to figure out what Last Name the OBIT should be under ! :] thx again. Unless that database could tell you about a marriage in Georgia ( have no clue the county) that a "Sharon Melissa Killough" MARRIED in (around:1985-1992)

Surnames: Killough Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/4c.2ADE/2192.1 Message Board Post: Hi. I'm not sure you'll get many takers with as little info as you've given us to go on. However, I did look to see if there was a Georgia Death Index entry, since I have an Ancestry.com subscription and access to the GA Death Index online for 1919 to 1998. No Killough or Kilough entries for Georgia for 1996, even with Soundex spelling variations. (If you don't know what Soundex is, I'll explain in a later note.) So, do you have any more information which might help someone help you? Like where she died? A state would help if you don't know exactly where. And why do you think the family would have posted an obit in the Gainesville paper, if the family no longer lived there? Judy
