It is now in Lumpkin County but near the Hall County line. This area in early 1800's was Habersham County. Buried in the cemetery is William Smith, born October...1784, died January 25, 1868. Elisabeth Smith died August the 18, 1831. Elisabeth Smith died February 4, 1865. Wm. Robbins died July 17, 1830. Mary Baugus John Baugus And about 8-10 other graves that we could not read the inscription. Can anyone help with who these people might have been and if they were connected to the Freeland Family. I have the book and the author says that in the case of "more" you need to refer to the original. He did not quote the entire article in very lengthy writeups. Original copies of the newspapers are found in the Probate Judge's office in Lumpkin County at Dahlonega and at the University of Georgia Library. The University has one of the best newspaper collections in the nation. Martha Brown
