Mr. Patterson was his father in law.

It is now in Lumpkin County but near the Hall County line. This area in early 1800's was Habersham County. Buried in the cemetery is William Smith, born October...1784, died January 25, 1868. Elisabeth Smith died August the 18, 1831. Elisabeth Smith died February 4, 1865. Wm. Robbins died July 17, 1830. Mary Baugus John Baugus And about 8-10 other graves that we could not read the inscription. Can anyone help with who these people might have been and if they were connected to the Freeland Family.     2. I have the book and the author says that in the case of "more" you need to refer to the original. He did not quote the entire article in very lengthy writeups. Original copies of the newspapers are found in the Probate Judge's office in Lumpkin County at Dahlonega and at the University of Georgia Library. The University has one of the best newspaper collections in the nation. Martha Brown

    2. LQQKing for info on MARION J CHRISTOPHER & EUGENIA LANCASTER married Dec 1888 in Hall Co GA. Eugenia died about 1907 not long after giving birth to my Uncle ERNEST CHRISTOPHER born 1907. I am trying to help my cousin find EUGENIA LANCASTER's parents and sibblings. If anyone has the 1880 Hall Co Ga census , could you please look and see if there is a EUGENIA or SARAH LANCASTER. I was also looking under the name Sitton and found articles with (more) at the bottom, so I came home without all of the articles.
