Elijah Walker was born about 1760 in VA and died between 1818-1819 in Habersham Co., GA He married Rebecca Carroll about 1778. She was born 1705 in VA and died 1854 in Gilmer County, GA. Apparently only one child was born to Elijah and Rebecca - West Walker (Sr.) about 1775 in NC. Elijah was in the Revolutionary War and later in some of the Indian Wars. Rebecca drew a pension after Elijah's death. However, I have not located the pension papers. It may contain some helpful information. Based on the info above, as well as our family history, I don't think that my West and your William West are the same person.
