After checking the on-line census for your Taylor family, I did what I should have done in the first place. The book, The Heritage of Habersham County, Georgia 1817-2000, has several family stories that trace the Taylor line as follows: Elijay Taylor, born about 1765 in Ireland William A. Taylor, born 1791, Cork County, Ireland, immigrated to America with his father, date not known. Charles Landrum Taylor (May 13 1836 - March 4, 1920) Julius Duncan Taylor (July 12, 1864 - June 4, 1951) William Mark Taylor The book has details and pictures including one of Julius Duncan Taylor's family taken about 1920. Unfortunately, it focuses after Julius on his son Tatum Hubert, not on your William Mark, although it does mention that he married Minnie Shirley.
