The celebration will be held Saturday, October 22, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. This year's event will be held at the Sunburst Stables, located 1 mile south of the Batesville Fire Station on Rt. 255. Batesville is a very old settlement in NW Habersham County, 12 miles north of Clarkesville at the intersection of GA 197 and GA 255. Events: Mountain Music, turkey shoot, BBQ, Cake Walk, Horse & Buggy Rides, Wood Carving, Blacksmithing, Corn Shuck Dolls, Folk & Fine Art, Pottery, Quilt Raffle, Wood Spinning, Chain Saw Carving, local artists and craftsmen.
