I have quite a lot of information about Minerva Free Waldroup but am at a loss to find out the date of her death and place of burial. Most of the histories I have read show only that she died before a certain date which I do not believe is accurate due to the birth dates of at least one of the children born to Lewis' second wife, Elizabeth Bramblett. Minerva recorded a deed in 1882 or 1883 in N.C.leaving her 1//5th interest in her father's (Simeon Free's) property to her children and one of Mineerva's sons George L. Waldroup was not on the list of heirs which indicates (to me) that her death had to occur AFTER his death which was quite a few years AFTER the date that some writings show that she probably died. Let me know if you have any data regaarding the date and place of burial for Minerva Waldroup. George L. Waldroup would have had to be listed as an heir along with Minerva's other living children if he had been living when the deed was written. Liz
