According to the 1880 census: Household # 187/188 Herrin, Wiley T. white male 30 years old " , Mary Emeline white female 28 years old {this is Mary Emeline Young} " , JOSEPHINE 9 years old {date of birth calculated as 1971} " , Eppa L. 7 years old " , Eda S. 5 years old " , Enoch 4 years old This female named Josephine is the one buried next to her father Wiley T. Herrin in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. I believe that the date of birth on marker is also questionable as that would make Josephine only 12 years old when she married Joseph. There marriage is recorded in the habersham County Probate records as being Jan. 04, 1891, thus she would have actually married at the age of 20 years. This also places Josephine's birth near the births of her siblings as it should be. Judy
