I will be in Habersham County early next week as part of a trip to north Georgia tracing ancestors. I'm trying to locate the grave of Daniel McCollum, who fought in the revolution in Rowan County North Carolina and migrated to Habersham County Georgia from Pendleton District South Carolina in February 1826. He lived with his son in law, John Stovall, when the 1840 census was taken and he was identified as an 86 year old Revolutionary War veteran. His son Daniel H. McCollum and members of his family are buried in the old Blue Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, as is his son William's wife. The censuses of 1830 adn 1840 show Daniel in the Blue Creek District, but he isn't shown in the 1850 census. Can anyone help me locate Daniel Senior's grave? He is believed to have died in 1842. W.
