Carter and Maebelle McAlister Carter. Survivors: Husband of 60 years, Roland J. McClain; daughters, Betty Bell of Honea Path, and June Richey of Anderson; a brother, Curt L.R. Carter of Anderson; sisters, Maebelle Gaines of Anderson, and Lola Carver of Iva; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Service: 3 p.m. today at The McDougald Funeral Chapel.
