I have just called (one of the Committee members on the Book Publication) about the book. It is being published in Missouri. The last proofing was on time. They are SUPPOSED to have it ready by April 15! However, IF the book publisher can not get it completed by that time, it will be later in the summer, for they'll be doing yearbook things between April 15 and Summer, so she stated. Good news is there's more to the book than originally planned so the committee member stated! I can't tell you more than this and she could not either, except she was sorry it was taking so much longer than they expected! IT IS NO "Flim-Flam" she assured me, and I saw some of the actual work being done, so I think you are all going to really enjoy the huge book when you finally do get it !! We do have a beautiful county with lots of faithful descendants of many early pioneer families of this and surrounding areas. Try to be patient, however, I know how anxious all of you are to get this publication. My regards, past historical society president, Nanette Reepe
