    3. Lynn: Your email brought back fond memories of Mr. Kimzey for me. In the mid 60s, my first full time job was as his receptionist/typist when he was Solicitor for Habersham County. His wife's family owned the bank next door and his wife worked at the bank. Mr. Kimzey was a generous, kind, thoughtful man who devoted his life to his family and the community. He was as honest as any man I've ever known. As Solicitor he was known as being fair and compassionate. I remember his genealogy work and how devoted he was to the research. I moved from the Habersham area to follow my ex-husband's Army career and lost touch with Mr. Kimzey and the status of his book. At the time, I was too young to understand the significance of the book but have often wished I had purchased a copy. Anyone researching the area or genealogy in Habersham County would find it of tremendous value. I have just returned from a visit to Habersham where I found a copy of Mary Church's book, Hills of Habersham. I've looked for this book for years, too. Mary Church is now deceased and her husband, Marlor, is in a nursing home. Anyone who is researching the Clarkesville area would also enjoy owning this book. Mine was purchased from a family member but I'm sure the book store in Clarkesville would know how to obtain a copy. I understand that it has to be purchased directly from the family. Thanks for the memories. Sue
