Nichols, Anderson, South Carolina Nina Elrod Nichols, 88, widow of Ray Nichols, of 826 Winston Drive, died Thursday, July 15, 1999, at Anderson Area Medical Center. Born in Habersham County, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Jim and Anna Chapman Elrod. Member: Return Baptist Church, Georgia. Survivors: a daughter, Lucille N. Dean of Anderson; sisters, Gladys Beck of Biloxi, Miss., and Inez Kimsey of Clarkesville, Ga.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased: sons, Howard and Jimmy Nichols; one grandson; and one great-grandson. Graveside service: 2 p.m. today at Memory Gardens. - The McDougald Funeral Home.
