Daniel McCollum, my fourth greatgrandfather, was listed in the 1840 Habersham County census as a Revolutionary War veteran residing with his son-in-law John Stovall. He received a pension for his service. He came to Clarkesville in February 1826 from Pendleton District South Carolina. Daniel died April 12, 1842 in Clarkesville. Any information about the place of his burial would be appreciated. W. McCollum
