I just found 1845 maps online at www.genealogyatlas.com/1845/ I can now locate the approximate place and see surrounding communities that my ancestors were in Around the 1845 time period. I printed two maps out but they could be slow to load if you have a dial up. But they are worth the wait. other sites of interest: www.segenealogy.com, www.negenealogy.com, www.uswars.net ******************************************************** Check out the new Family Tree Maker 2005 at www.ftm2005 ********************************************************
Hi, I am looking for marriage dates for Franklin Waddell, Patrick Waddell, John Waddell, Martha Wadell, and Cynthia Waddell. Is there anyone availible to do a look up for me? Thanks, Rebecca Wilbanks Day
Found my own answer to my own question. In 1900 census the household 163/165: Sarah C. Morris Head b. May 1831 69 widow 7 children-6 living. Boland G. SON b. April 1871 29 married:0 yrs. School Teacher. Lizzie Dau-in-Law b. Feb. 1881 19 Married:0 yrs. According to my previous research this couple Boland G. and Lizzie were newlyweds. they marriage recorded as May 16, 1900! Lizzie was SARAH ELIZABETH (CHRISTIAN) MORRIS. They had 3 children: Effie Lucile born 1900 Bertie (?) Jane b. 1911 Eugene D. According to my received info their father died in Pearce, Arizona. Not surprizing as some members of the line moved to Arizona. Material states that this Boland/bolin died May 26 1942 in Pearce, Az. He would have been about 71 at his death. Trying to find/confirm this info but can't find the proper Az. county as of yet! Judy
Yes, I have all of that info. But thank you for confirming. I guess my main question was who is Lizzy-dau in law? I have by change been in touch with a woman who lives in another state who has also in her line a Bolin Green Morris! We played around with all the info for weeks, and could not find a connection. I probably have her file around here somwhere. Will try and locate her info again. Quite interesting!!!! I found the 1900 census quite interesting, myself. I guess that I had not seen household 162/165, that of Sarah C. Morris as head of household. And Lizzie-dau. in law. Is this Sarah C. Morris actually Cinthia Catherine Smith Morris, the widow of John Howell b. 1858? I must look futher at my Morris line and review it. Not familiar with Lizzie, the dau. in law! Happy to exchange any inof that I do have.
