They had two (2) known children that I know of at the present time: (1) Elsie Fowler, b. abt. 1883 and Samantha Fowler, b. abt. 1885. Samantha married an Unknown Strange. I have on the Prince family, that Hannah Prince, b. February 28, 1825, married James M. Ayers on June 22, 1848. Sarah E. Does anyone have any info on a Walters/Waters/Watters and a Sosobee family living in Habersham Co. early 1830s? Looking for parents of Sebastian Walters and Phoebe Sosobee. Spellings for both first and surnames of each vary. My favorite has been Feeby. They married in Habersham Co. ca. 1832 and moved to Cass Co. some time after the Cherokee Land Lottery. They were in Cass in 1840. I'd like to know more if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks, Carol in TN

Hello List, I noticed a post this morning about a family who came to Habersham from Haywood County, NC. Does anyone know if a group came to Habersham from Haywood County. I am thinking that they may have come in a group as so many did from other areas. If anyone has family who did come from Haywood to Habersham I would love to know about them. If we see that there were several families maybe we can find out why they came and when.
