Henry C. Harris Commerce Henry C. Harris, 62, of 546-B Wilson Road died Monday, Jan. 15, 2001. A native of Georgia, Mr. Harris was a son of the late Henry Richard Harris and Elizabeth Towe Harris. He was a truck driver. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ivie Funeral Home with the Revs. Henry Webb and Johnny Loudermilk officiating. Burial will be in Banks Memorial Gardens, Homer. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Harris; a son, Tracy Harris, Hartwell; four sisters, Virginia Billings, Starr, S.C., Mary Clark and Henrietta O'Dell, both of Hartwell, and Betty Hulsey, Mount Airy; a brother, James W. Homer Ansley Mt. Airy Homer Ansley, 86, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2001. A native of Habersham County, Mr. Ansley was a son of the late Felix Hamp and Leckie Loudermilk Ansley, and was the widower of Marcelle Anderson Ansley. He was retired from the soil and water conservation department and was a member of Hazel Creek Baptist Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hazel Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Billy Burrell, Telford Tanksley and Trent Smith officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Goodin, Griffin; and two sons, Charles Ansley and Leon Ansley, both of Mt. Airy. A native of Franklin County, Mrs. Cheek was a daughter of the late Henry and Mary Etta Savage Garner, and was preceded in death by a son, Joel Eller. She was the last member of her immediate family, was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Whitfield Funeral Home, South, Baldwin, with the Revs. Randy Chaffin and Rich Hardeman officiating. Burial will be in Yonah Memorial Gardens. Charles Ausborn Toccoa Charles Robert Ausborn, 58, of 6998 Carnes Creek, died Friday, January 12, 2001. MR. MOTE Habersham County native DEMOREST - Hoyt Rufus Mote, 64, died Friday, December 29, 2000, at Habersham County Medical Center. Mr. Mote was born August 24, 1936, in Habersham County, a son of the late Rev. Charlie and Frances Tench Mote. He worked at Orbit Manufacturing and was of the Baptist faith. A memorial service was held Sunday, December 31, in the chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home, Cornelia, with the Rev. Melvin Stephens officiating. Mr. Mote's body was donated to science. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Joan McEntire Mote, Demorest; two daughters, Marcia Elaine Ramey, Cleveland, and Mary Ann Lawrence, Homer; one son, Michael Mote, Demorest; one sister, Barbara Ann Echols, Demorest; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. MRS. LOUDERMILK Music teacher CORNELIA - Mrs. Willie C. Loudermilk, 100, died Wednesday, December 27, 2000, at Habersham County Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Loudermilk was born January 15, 1900, a son of the late Thomas and Emma Collins. She was a homemaker and a music teacher and was a member of Cornelia United Methodist Church. Mrs. Loudermilk was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Loudermilk, and a son, Hollis P. Loudermilk. Funeral services were held Friday, December 29, in the chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home, Cornelia, with the Rev. Luther Williams officiating. Burial was in the Loudermilk Family Cemetery. Survivors include one daughter, Evelyn Sexton, Cornelia; four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
