Walton Co. - 42nd Regiment Georgia Militia, Court of Inquiry (1845-1853) part 1 of 2 The big news is that the two books, "Walton County Georgia Cemeteries (East)" and "Walton County Georgia Cemeteries (West)" are now back from the printers! This massive work is a completely new compilation and all the known cemeteries in Walton County as of late 2002 are included. State Highway 11 was used as the East-West dividing line for division of cemeteries in these two volumes. This dividing line is a historically significant route based on a road used by early settlers in Walton Co.
