Researching the family of Alcy (Alsey?) S. WILBANKS, born May 1884 in GA; daughter of ? WILBANKS and Harriett C. Alcy's father died between 1892-1895 and her mother married about 1895 to Carnadme? H. ROBERTS, as listed in the 1900 census of Gwinnett County, GA in Pucketts (1397th) District. Alcy had one brother, Robert H. WILBANKS, born September 1892, as listed on the 1900 census. Would that be Robert Hosea Wilbanks, August 20, 1892 until May 30, 1960; buried at Zion Hill Baptist Cemetery? Alcy WILBANKS married on May 25, 1902, in Gwinnett to James Earley HARVEY, b. 1886 and d. 1972; son of James A. HARVEY and Mattie Ann WALKER; born and raised in Cain's District of Gwinnett. Alcy and James are not found in the 1910 census. They are living in Hortence, Wayne, GA in the 1920 census. They have five children listed: Leroy, JC, and Herbert are the only names I can manage to read: four sons and one daughter all together. In 1930 in Walton County, GA James Harvey living next door to his widowed mother; listed as divorced. James Earley HARVEY is buried in Walton Co., GA. I cannot find any records of their children or Alcy after the 1920 census. Is Alcy WILBANKS father, Hosea WILBANKS, 1817-1896; buried in Zion Hill Baptist Cemetery? Is her mother, Harriet CARLYLE, born March 1, 1852? She is listed in the census as being born in March 1858 in the 1900 census. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated. Ellen
