I am a descendant of William Warren Brand who moved to the Gwinnette Co., Georgia sometime between 1780 and 1790 from Edgecombe Co., N C. The next step in my heritage is from his son Jonas Brand, then his son Robert Mathis Cleveland Brand, a Civil War veteran, who migrated from Georgia to Alabama then to Texas in the late 1800s.
