    3. Rachel: How the heck are you doing? I had kept this old message from you and realized my g.grandfather's brother, Andrew Jack BARNES was born in Gwinnett Co! He was born 1843, I think his military records said. We have tried a very long time to find William Henry BARNES and brother Jack's family. Have been in hopes they might have been on some census in Gwinnett or some record of Jack's birth, so we could find parents. No hurry...just if you get a chance, I would so appreciate it. If you are backlogged with requests, put mine on the bottom. smile Glad to wait my turn. The Cherokee National Holiday here in Tahlequah was unbelievably huge this year! They said there were 200,000 XTRA people in town for the weekend and about 30,000 at the holiday. Our town population including all of us that live out in the hills (as they say) is only 11,000. smile It was also 105 degrees...unbelievable (our normal temp for this time of year is 82 to 86!!). I figured that many people and all of us in Cherokee co. needing rain so badly, we would have gotten some from two pow wows, but alas, not yet. It will come. We give thanks.
