This book (abstract) was compiled by Alice McCabe from the "original book". In her introduction I'd like to quote the first paragraph. "In the Probate Judge's offices are many treasures relating to Gwinnett County history and genealogy. Many have been untapped because people think that 'everything burned' in the Courthouse fire of 1871". Regarding the book Alice abstracted: "he dates alone tell that it survived the fire"....
