Hello, Below I am sending information I have about two murders, a murder by George WHITLEY and a murder of George WHITLEY. Does anyone have any further information about either of these murders, and/or about George WHITLEY? Does anyone know who these George Whitleys are? LouDean #1 According to The Georgia Black Book of Macabre, Morbid, Disgusting Tales of Genealogical Value, Vol. I, page 312: Gwinnett Co., GA: Nancy E. WHITLEY was murdered in Nov. 1868 by George WHITLEY. #2 John A. Adams was born September 15, 1880, died March 14, 1941, and is buried in Norcross City Cemetery. He married Amanda Roberts. John moved to Norcross [Georgia] where he rented a place for fifty cents (not sure how often this was paid) and operated a blacksmith shop. The house John was raised in is still occupied by an Adams. John was 5 years old when his stepfather George WHITLEY was shot and killed by his mother.
