    3. In the book History of Gwinnett Vol. 1, pg 65 John MCDADE was listed as a VA militiaman in the Rev. War who collected pension in Gwinnett County. pg. 160 John MCDADE was a pensioner of 1835 & 1840 There are not listings for the MCDADE families at all. You need to check Hall & Dekalb counties also. Even though the kids lived in Gwinnett in 1850 doesn't mean grandpa didn't wonder over county lines to die. One of my husband's ancestor's went to visit in another county and died so they buried him in that county. Took a while to find grandpa but there he was. Also, call the Gwinnett Historical Society. They have a huge update and many corrections to add to the cemetery book so you might find them. If you live near one of the Federal archives, you can view these pension records for war service. Good luck! Adrianne -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Wednesday, August 05, 1998 11:19 PM Subject: Gwinnett Co.
