Annette-Born and reared in Gwinnett. My daughter and her family live on the border of Gwinnett and Dekalb on Norris Lake. The county lines go right through her yard and house! Well, anyway, regarding marriage records and courthouse fires... I cannot find a record of the marrige of David Windsor McDade and Mary Orrigan Maffett although they were both born in Lawrenceville (or at least Gwinnett). The Gwinnett historical society has no record of their marriage in their book. Do you think the new courthouse/county building would have records from 1868? Rose
