    3. Hi Leona, The only clue I have to Tinsley is that William Amos Waiters and his wife, Mary Ann Whitaker, named their first daughter Jane Tinsley or Tinsey Waiters. (It was her middle name, but she seemed to use it most often later in life.) It is one of the few of their children's names I can't connect to Mary Ann's family. Perhaps someone in the Waiters family had that name. If I ever find a Tinsley or Tinsey connected with a Waiters, I think they will also be connected to my very ellusive William Amos Waiters.
