Martin Researcher can you please place these Martin's with a Martin Family?? My 2 Great-Grandmother was : Margaret "Elizabeth" (Martin), born about Dec 1822 GA, accordig to census data. She married 24 March 1839 Gwinnett Co. to Benjamin F. Hanie. In 1839, when Elizabeth applied for a widows pension, for Benjamin's service in the Florida-Indian War, their marriage was attested to as being performed at the above time & place by Henry Strickland of Duluth, GA. & by a Benjamin F. Martin, both stating as being present at the wedding. My Hanie family left Gwinnett before 1850 (family found in no census that year) into Forsyth Co. & onto Pickens Co. & after the civil war to Hall Co. where they settled & both died there. Any idea's?
