    2. Carol Smith
    3. I am researching the family of Smith JONES. I find them as early as 1830 in Gwinnett County, GA. His wife is given as Ann/Annie (BAXTER) JONES. I am seeking their marriage information. They had several children: B. C. (male); Rufus P; Nathan Henry; Willis C.; Elizabeth M.; Mary E; Oliver S.; and James H. Jones. I am seeking information on possible land or tax records of Smith JONES and any marriage records of him or his children. I find them in Murray County, GA in 1850 census. Any resources you may suggest will be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time. Carol Smith

    1. [GAGWINNE-L] Philip Jarrells grandson+
    2. MAXINE JARRELL
    3. I hope noone will be offended by this. My grandson Philip Jarrells lost his kidneys in Oct of 96. I had requested cards sent to him while in the hospital and he was flooded with them from all over the world. It made life easier for him at the time. The Dr and nurses even got interested in where they were comeing from. I again would like to thank the wonderful people on these list. I want to report that Philip has been given a kidney by his mother and after two weeks is doing wonderful. I know there may still be hard times ahead if the body should reject the kidney but for now I praise the Lord for how well he is doing. His mother [my daughter Shiela is haveing some problems but perhaps it will all clear up. Again Thanks. Maxine Jarrells

    3. Jeff or anyone If you know of a Bob Jarrell, any spelling from Ga that could possible have been m to a Martha Caroline Collins or else had child by her in Oct 1882. Martha was from Gwinnett Co GA. She was born 1857. Bob is the only name I have, nickname or not I dont know. This Great gfather of my husbands started me into this obsession and he is still not found. I found a Mattie Collins m to a Robert F. His name is John F HAYES/HAYS and hers is Selitha (Seitha) Jane Bohannon HAYES/HAYS . They died some time around 1870 in Gwinnett or surrounding counties. I have been searching all over the place for his parents with no luck. If you could find their graves, I would LOVE it and maybe it would help me get a clue on his parents. Thanks, Susan

    1. [GAGWINNE-L] Hutchins-Gwinnett-1800's
    2. Joshua Hutchins lived in the Auburn/Carl area of Gwinnett County from about 1840 until his death sometime after the 1880 Census. (His tombstone at Midway Methodist Church gives a death date of 1877, but he and his wife Martha are in the 1880 Census!) All census records say that he was born in GA (about 1807). 1. Where in Georgia was he born? 2. Who were his parents? 3. Does he tie into the Drury Hutchins family that originated from Pendleton District, SC? (Nathan Hutchins' line) 4. Do the Jackson County Hutchins relate to this family? (Redmond, Wiley, etc.) I have worked for years trying to answer these questions! Linda Hutchins Pendergrass Greenville, SC
