I need the parents of James Crow who was on the 1850 and 1860 Census of Clarke County, Georgia, and the 1870 and 1880 Census of Greene County, Georgia. He married in Clarke Co., Ga., 1846 to Mary Frances Allen, probably the daughter of Sarah Robinson and Phillip Allen, Rev. Sol. There were two contemporary James Crows in Clarke Co., Ga. and a lot of research has been by otherS on that Crow family there and my James Crow does not seem to fit. Have no idea what happened to the other family members after 1880. This James Crow was not a farmer, but some type of mill warker or mechanic according to the census which probably explains why he was not found in the land records of either county.
