Vivian, I have a Clarissa "Clary" Pollard in my line. I understand she was born around 1762 in Virginia and married James Stewart on 21 Oct. 1782 in Amherst County, Virginia. They came to Georgia and were in Wilkes County for a time. They ended up in Clarke County. I have been told that Clarissa's father was a William Pollard. Does this sound like your line?
